What can I do?
- Write a letter to the editor in your local newspaper or a blog entry. (Be sure to mention NO2REALID.org) Sample #1, Sample #2, and Sample #3
- Put up a handprinted sign on a busy street or highway:
NO2REALID.ORG
REAL ID = REAL BAD
REAL ID = NO MORE PRIVACY
No REAL ID (Use graphic from home page)
- Check your state for legislative activity. If there is activity call or write your legislator and urge them to oppose
REAL ID. If there is no activity ask your legislator to sponsor a bill opposing REALID. Sample legislation available.
- Form a Meetup group dedicated to opposing REAL ID.
- Use your artistic talents to promote your concerns about this issue. Check out the Picture on our Members page.
- Create a YouTube Video
All we ask is be sure to mention NO2REALID.org and be sure to let us know what you have done!

grants. Due to our extensive lobbying we are not a tax deductible organization.

Write a Letter or Sign a Petition
Petitioning and lobbying our representatives has its place as the final step in effective social change. First however
in order to overcome the general paralysis of the legislature we have to create popular support.
